Meet Tanya

Tanya ventured into the world of HR in New York City over 15 years ago, where she spent four years as AVP of HR for a commercial bank, and administered all HR functions. Her next opportunity led her to Deloitte, where as a Senior Consultant, she helped larger companies navigate HR challenges.

While living in London, England for a two-year period, Tanya was a volunteer for a non-profit organization's job club, devoted to helping people find jobs by teaching them how to improve their resumes, prepare for interviews, and apply for jobs online.

HR work has been a key element in all of her professional jobs. From helping with hiring, recruiting, and training projects for breweries and taprooms to interviewing 150 business owners for two travel guidebooks she's authored. She loves to write, travel, and visit breweries with her husband Jim and their dog Barley in her free time.

She's excited about helping small business owners manage the ever-changing world of HR and equally excited to be part of the knowledgeable and passionate IO team.
